At the AEEDC Dubai 2026 international dental expo, we unveiled our next-generation AI-30 dental scanner. This upgrade focuses on enhancing the user experience and significantly improving data accuracy , introducing eight core functional updates covering hardware interaction, software algorithms, and system processes. This makes digital impression taking smarter, quieter, and more precise.
Locked area scan
When scanning complex local areas, redundant scan data can obstruct the view and make it difficult to focus. The new " Lock Area Scan " function, however, transforms scanning from " comprehensive acquisition " to " precise targeting ." It concentrates computing power and time on key areas, obtaining clearer edge lines and finer surface textures. This allows users to focus on the target area, making scanning more efficient.
Manual bite assist recording
For complex cases involving severe wear, joint instability, or functional guidance, traditional automated occlusion recording may fail to accurately capture dynamic or unique jaw relationships. In such cases, switching to manual occlusion-assisted recording mode is possible. This provides a "freehand drawing board" for complex occlusion relationships, seamlessly converting the user's clinical judgment into digital data.
Splicing algorithm optimization
Unnatural data fusion and minor deformations at the seams can affect the accuracy of the final model, especially in long-span implant bridges or full-mouth reconstructions, where errors can be amplified. This upgrade employs a new generation of intelligent stitching algorithms . It is not only more accurate in feature matching but also better understands the continuity of oral anatomy. It performs overall optimization and adjustment from the perspective of the entire dataset. The transitions at the seams are natural, the surfaces are smooth and continuous, and the resulting virtual model closely approximates the actual situation inside the patient's mouth.
In addition to the eight intelligent upgrades to the software system, another major highlight at AEEDC was the breakthrough in hardware performance- a new generation desktop scanner with a 40% increase in scanning speed . Its remarkable efficiency improvement and stable output quality garnered validation and high praise from dental professionals worldwide.
This "efficiency tool," honed through top international exhibitions, will be the core of our next project.
